The Hot Sheet - October 6th, 2025
This list highlights the weekend’s top performances. We weigh three things:
Opponent strength first. Ranked teams, elite defenses, rivalry heat, and tough road environments.
Production in context. Box scores only count when they came against good teams & players.
Draft relevance. Are these players tracking to be NFL and dynasty-relevant?
Now, let’s get into the Top 20.
Quarterbacks
Nico Iamaleava (QB, UCLA)
Stat line: 17/24, 166 Yards, 2 TD, 0 INT | 16 Carries, 128 Yards, 3 TD
Opponent: #7 Penn State
Five total TDs and 128 rushing vs a top-10 defense is great to see from Nico. I’m not sure if he winds up being dynasty relevant, but playing well and upsetting the #7 team in the country definitely doesn’t hurt. We saw designed keepers and on-schedule throws without turning the ball over, and he was decisive in the red zone. He’s eligible for the 2026 draft, but he would be a 2027 or 2028 prospect if he’s able to regain his prospect status.
Carson Beck (QB, Miami)
Stat line: 20/27, 241 Yards, 4 TD, 0 INT
Opponent: #18 Florida State
Four TDs with no turnovers against a ranked rival is exactly what we wanted to see. He operated on time, handled pressure, and finished in the red zone. His draft status took a hit in his last season with Georgia, but with Miami, he’s now tracking to be drafted in 2026 and potentially dynasty-relevant if this trajectory holds.
Cade Klubnik (QB, Clemson)
Stat line: 22/24, 254 Yards, 4 TD, 0 INT
Opponent: North Carolina
A 92% day with four scores is what we need to see from a rhythm passer, and he didn’t turn the ball over. The knock is that the UNC defense isn’t very good, but this is encouraging to see as Klubnik rehabs his value. He kept the operation clean, layered intermediates, and didn’t hand the defense freebies. Klubnik is a 2026 name to know and could be considered dynasty-relevant if he performs against better opponents - we need to see more from him.
Julian Sayin (QB, Ohio State)
Stat line: 23/27, 326 Yards, 3 TD, 0 INT
Opponent: Minnesota
Near-perfect efficiency with great intermediate placement. He stayed disciplined on third down and didn’t force a turnover. It’s too early to project dynasty outcomes, but he’s trending toward being a name to know for the 2027 draft and landing on dynasty radars if he continues to grow.
Josh Hoover (QB, TCU)
Stat line: 23/33, 275 Yards, 4 TD | 8 Carries, 20 Yards, 1 TD
Opponent: Colorado
Rebounded from a tough game against Arizona State with five total TDs against Colorado. He mixed play-action throws with layups and handled the pressure. He’s been playing himself into the draft conversation this season - probably 2027 with dynasty relevance based on draft stock.
Mason Heintschel (QB, Pittsburgh)
Stat line: 30/41, 323 Yards, 4 TD, 0 INT | 10 Carries, 28 Yards
Opponent: Boston College
Four TDs on high-volume accuracy with no turnovers is exactly what you want to see against an opponent like Boston College. He layered crossers and seams, kept feet calm under pressure, and used just enough mobility to extend plays and drives. He’s a true freshman, so we’re looking at the 2028 draft at the earliest, but we saw plenty of promise in his first start.
Ty Simpson (QB, Alabama)
Stat line: 23/31, 340 Yards, 2 TD, 1 INT
Opponent: #16 Vanderbilt
Simpson looked like a quarterback in control, throwing for 340 Yards and 2 TDs against a ranked opponent. The ball came out on time against pressure and red-zone execution was on point. He did throw his first INT of the season, but he’s been incredibly effecient all season. He’s likely either a 2026/2027 draft pick and could be dynasty relevant depending on landing spot.
Running Backs
Justice Haynes (RB, Michigan)
Stat line: 19 Carries, 117 Yards, 2 TDs
Opponent: Wisconsin
Efficient, on-schedule rushing while continuing to show explosiveness against a solid defense. Right now he’s one of the top RBs in the 2026 draft and should be a 1st or 2nd round pick in SF drafts.
Jeremiyah Love (RB, Notre Dame)
Stat line: 16 Carries, 103 Yards, 1 TD | 1 Catch, 11 Yards
Opponent: Boise State
I’m not sure if Boise State is good or bad, but regardless, Love hit the century mark and scored a TD on a modest number of carries. The pass-game blip was light here, but we know he’s got it. He’s my #1 RB in the 2026 class and should be taken in the the top half of the 1st round in SF leagues.
Jadan Baugh (RB, Florida)
Stat line: 27 Carries, 107 Yards, 1 TD
Opponent: #9 Texas
Twenty-seven carries against a top-10 opponent isn’t flashy, but it’s credible—he handled volume, finished runs, and kept the offense on schedule. He’s a 2027 name to know and could be dynasty-relevant if he can keep handling workhorse loads.
Myles Montgomery (RB, UCF)
Stat line: 22 Carries, 110 Yards, 2 TDs
Opponent: Kansas
True workload load with two scores and a steady diet of positive runs. He’s playing his way into the draft discussion - likely 2027 - and could matter for dynasty with the right landing spot and continued usage.
J’Koby Williams (RB, Texas Tech)
Stat line: 19 Carries, 107 Yards, 2 TDs
Opponent: Houston
Decisive one-cut runner who stacked put up over 100 yards with two scores. Vision and tempo showed up, and he finished drives when Tech needed it. He looks like a back who’ll get a real look from NFL rooms for the 2027 or 2028 drafts.
Emmett Johnson (RB, Nebraska)
Stat line: 13 Carries, 83 Yards, 3 TDs
Opponent: Michigan State
Only 13 carries, but three touchdowns tells you that the staff trusts him. He found daylight quickly and finished at the goaline. Draft relevance comes down to role at the next level and could be in considation for the 2026 or 2027 drafts.
Pass Catchers
Michal Trigg (TE, Baylor)
Stat line: 8 Catches, 155 Yards
Opponent: Kansas State
This was a huge game from Trigg - we saw seam wins, YAC, and chain moving plays all game. This is the kind of usage that translates and gets coordinators to design plays around you. He’s tracking to be drafted in 2026 and is in my top-5 TEs.
Chris Bell (WR, Louisville)
Stat line: 12 Catches, 170 Yards, 2 TDs
Opponent: #24 Virginia
Massive volume and two scores against a ranked opponent. This is the profile of a dependable Z/big slot who earns QB trust making catches in traffic. He’s on the radar for 2026 and should matter in dynasty if the red-zone role sticks.
Carnell Tate (WR, Ohio State)
Stat line: 9 Catches, 183 Yards, 1 TD
Opponent: Minnesota
Alpha yardage with real intermediate and vertical wins. He separated, found the ball, and moved the chains the entire game. He’s one of the top WRs in the 2026 draft and should be able to carve out a role at the next level.
Dallas Wilson (WR, Florida)
Stat line: 6 Catches, 111 Yards, 2 TDs
Opponent: #7 Texas
Six for 111 and two scores against a top-10 team. He looked comfortable outside and in the red zone. He’s a freshman, so we’re looking at 2028 at the earliest, but he’s a name to keep an eye on, especially if he continues to develop over the next couple of seasons.
Malachi Toney (WR, Miami)
Stat line: 7 Catches, 107 Yards, 2 TDs
Opponent: #18 Florida State
Seven for 107 and two TDs in a ranked rivalry. He showed us clean routes, timing, and the ability to score. Another freshman, so 2028 or beyond, but he’s making quite the impression in his first collegiate season.
KC Concepcion (WR, Texas A&M)
Stat line: 6 Catches, 80 Yards, 2 TDs
Opponent: Mississippi State
Not the biggest yardage total this season, but high-leverage scoring and chain-moving showed up on tape. He likely elects for the 2026 draft class, and should be dynasty relevant if his stock continues to climb like it has been this season.
Brett Eskildsen (WR, Iowa State)
Stat line: 8 Catches, 105 Yards, 1 TD
Opponent: Cincinnati
Eight catches and over a hundred with a score. He’s building a 2027 or 2028 draftable résumé and could matter in dynasty with continued usage and red-zone trust.
On The Radar
Rocco Becht (QB, Iowa State)
Stat line: 20/48, 314 Yards, 2 TDs | 12 Carries, 17 Yards, 2 TDs
Opponent: Cincinnati
Four total TDs keep him on the radar, but sub-42% completion is rough. He made enough plays to win drives; now we need better efficiency when the throws are there. He’s a 2026/27 name who could be dynasty-relevant if the accuracy stabilizes.
Reuben Owens II (RB, Texas A&M)
Stat line: 21 Carries, 142 Yards
Opponent: Mississippi State
Grinded out 142 Yards on 21 carries, but no TDs and light receiving keep him just on the radar. He’s showing explosiveness after returning from a Lisfranc injury. As long as he continues to create explosive plays, he’ll soon be on draft radars - most likely for 2027.
Jam Miller (RB, Alabama)
Stat line: 22 Carries, 136 Yards, 1 TD
Opponent: #16 Vanderbilt
Handled the load against a ranked opponent and finished. Not a lot of flash, just consistent gains. He’s a 2026 guy who’s probably off the radar at the moment, but could play his way into consideration with more games like this.
Hank Beatty (WR, Illinois)
Stat line: 5 Catches, 186 Yards, 1 TD
Opponent: Purdue
Explosives galore on modest volume—he flipped the field multiple times and finished once. To move from just a splash player, we need to see more targets versus better secondaries. He’s on the NFL Draft and Dynasty radar for 2026, but it will depend on landing spot.
Ryan Williams (WR, Alabama)
Stat line: 6 Catches, 98 Yards, 1 TD
Opponent: #16 Vanderbilt
Williams just missed out on the Hot Sheet, but wanted to include him here as he had a big impact against a ranked opponent. He’s a top player in the 2027 draft, and should be at the top end of the 1st round in SF leagues.
